It was a lot better before we got hyperlinks to stupid **** like "t r u c k s"
It was a lot better before we had a "related links" post at the bottom of every thread
It was a lot better when people actaully got off their asses and did a search.
It was a lot better when newbies weren't asking how to make thier car fast without doing a turbo swap, running nitrous, or lifting a finger.
I'm out.

Mozilla gets rid of the gay linked words, and I hear DarkMoon gets rid of Related Links. The newbs are a pox, but we were all there once, I guess.

I wonder if we could make it so that you couldn't post unless you'd searched a minimum of ten times?

Run the Ranger header, it'll make you as fast as a turbo swap.

StangNet has been very cluttered and irritating lately.

I don't know how many of you noticed, but I have not been posting very much at all over the last month or two or so. Maybe 20 posts, somewhere in around there.

I definitely hear you on this one.. I hardly ever read here on SN. There's hardly anything here that I can learn something from. I don't mind helping out newbs, but that's pretty much all there is here. I am a very heavy lurker on turboford, and I post when I think I have some intelligent to contribute. See ya on TF, bhuff.

You know... it's only sucked for about 2-3 years, yet we still come on here to see if our little contigent of turboswappers (those learning the process at the same time we did) have come over here to post something interesting.
And look I come on and bhuff, Crovax, Ash and Brantley all posted on the same thread.
I'll be jiggered.

I'm hurt.. I didn't make the list.

Perhaps there might be a sticky thread with some proven timeslips from a super modded N/A 2.3 versus a stock non intercooled, untuned turbo car.

I got rid of the Stangnet crap through changing the skin to the Dark moon.

Before I did that I was about to Leave the forum all together and go to TF again.

Dont worry man, it seems that I did not make the list also!!!
you know what, those that did not include me in there list suck to!!

I say we just shut down the 2.3 are of the stangnet and all of us go over to TurboFord. LOL well maybe not. Neewbies need some kind of place to come and get basic info.

I thought this was a resurection of my old post. I cant wait for it to get locked down like mine did. yayyyhhh.

stangnet used to be more fun, I do agree. but ohh well. it gives me more time to spend doing other things.

Your still a newbie. You've only been here since 03.
But... since you have been here a little longer than most of the others, I suppose you can be on the list too.
As for the modified NA-stock turbo dyno sheet, I have a dyno sheet for that. Aside from porting the head, my NA was pretty well setup. It dynoed at 117rwhp and 132 ft*lbs. LMAO That is the same as the bone stock 79-81 2.3 turbo which made 132hp at the flywheel, and certainly had more torque.

Dude, you just bent over, spread your cheeks, and said "shove it right here!" Seriously, it's morons like you that are totally not helpful that make me dislike this forum. In this thread, the phrase "it sucks" absoutely does not refer to our cars. It refers to this forum and the quality of material (or lack, thereof) discussed here. I could easily go out and get a 5.0 Fox right now, but what fun would that be? Everyone has a V8 Mustang. They all sound pretty much the same, etc. Some of us enjoy making a respectable car out of something small, which in this case is the 2.3 engine. Many of the people on TurboFord are easily beating 5.0 Stangs with their 2.3s. Why don't you learn a bit about what you're gumming off on before you make even a bigger fool of youself.

Of course, that's just my opinion; I could be wrong.
