Well, i guess this proves the PPG thing. Here it is with the Dupont. Luckily there is no dust in this flat paint, cause we were really scared about having to wet sand and buff it. These headlight buckets are flawless.

This foureyed car is really starting to grow on me.

been working on weatherstripping and t-tops, weatherstripping has been a real pita. Need to paint the tail lights, next interior and engine.

WOW Terry, I've got to say the finished paint job is exactly what I've come to expect from this thread and your garage! That car is going to blow some judge's wigs off at car shows.

Very nice finished product. I just had an idea going back to the front bumper cover since you didnt end up with a GT bumper what about an 85/86 style Saleen valence or even an 87+ style if the contours match up?? I feel like a little more edge to the front of the car is what it needs to be 100%

Thanks everyone, we are happy to have that part done. Still working on her. Got my "basline suspension" copy done, for upper control arms. Made this same set up for the 93 and it worked really well, so we fabbed one up for Rusty too.

Here it is installed, hard to get a good shot cause it's so far up in there, but you can get the idea.

I quess interior and motor. If we sell the Piranah we could get a nice motor

Got the lower control arms fabbed up and installed...

Got all of the weatherstripping installed, not real happy with all of it, what a total PITA. I dunno if it is the kit we picked or maybe they are all that way. Took extra weatherstripping and about 4-5 hours of flooding the car and messing around to get it right. Thank god it didn't have any interior in it. Also the doors fit really tight now, hard to open and close, hoping that will break in some.

Got some of the inner supports on the doors...

Got the plastic trimmed to fit over the tubs, now we can get together with the upholsterer and get the back seated nootched to fit the tubs and he can het sewing. Gonna paint all of the interior plastic peices.

T-Top trim is a huge PITA. Ford outsourced the t-top cars, so all the t-top stuff has a non-factory-hack feel to it.

This one was from Fox Mustang Restoration, I have since found out that there is another company called Soff Seal making one as well.

Pruitt charged $250.00/4 to cut and Ray charged $315.00/4 to weld.

Starting to collect motor parts, thought this was note worthy. Found this company called CFR got a very nice quality power steering pump bracket for $58.99 compared to $104.98 from March. They are having a sale right now on deep sump oil pans with the tube for $129.00 gonna order that as well.

Don't mean to hijack, but what's the deal with these supports. Are they only present on T-Topped cars? I have a 'vert and mine doesn't have them.
