Started the 84 t-top coupe

wow, it must feel good to see so much hard work come together, i can't believe the time frame you're doing a project of this size in... i might finish a project of this magnitude by retirement age with A LOT of help (and i'm 23 now :rlaugh:)

The black centers look realy good, but if you painted them anthracite, that would look good also. Here is an idea of what they look like. PM me if you need a deal on some of these. The qtr. panel splice looks great.

Wow, thanks for the pics, I have to say I am dead serious leaning that way. Don't know why i didn't pay any attention to those rims before.

Terry, I found this pic of a 4 eye coupe with mach1's on it, it's even close to wild strawberry in color... thought you might want to see it. This car is getting a turbo 5.4L, it's in a build thread over on turbomustangs. :D They're factory mach1's, not the aftermarkt deep dish kind, but you get the idea.

Glad you liked the idea. Just let me know when you get closer to needing some wheels. I will try to get you deal on them. Might even be able to work out something if you try them and decide you don't like. I have full faith in you wanting to keep them once they are on. Just let me know, I would be glad to help.

Yeah that sounds like a nice project. However, IMHO those wheels don't hold a candle to the aftermarket ones. Honestly, Ford should have come out with the aftermarket ones first. O well, we have both choices now. :nice:

Thanks for all the pics it is great to see them on a foureye, I think I do like the aftermarket ones better

Well we're in color now. Wet sanded last night. The guy that painted trbofox has agreed to buff the car in exchange for me installing a drivetrain in a 67 skylark he's working on for someone, sounds good to me cause I have no experience with buffing, but having him at my place I'm gonna take good notes. The door jambs are beautiful.
