well, the genious that wired / relocated the solenoid, in all his wisdom decided the wheel well was the best place for it, but no not where it would be clear of the tire but in fact right next to and just forward of the strut.... So when the wheel is hard over the tire rubs on one of the solenoid posts which decided to break off yesterday. I am going to re-wire the damn thing, where is a better place to relocate it?

Also, there is an ass load of power wires jumpered off my solenoid, so much so that you can barely thread the nut to the solenoid post. Can I use a distribution block like this instead of have 10 wires coming directly off the terminal?

Thanks for any ideas

I have 4 wires on the positive and 1 wire on the negative and the little red wire.

Did someone hide the wires? Is that the reason the starter solenoid was relocated?

The junction strip pictured is very small for the wiring needed.

See http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?webpage_id=3&CAT_ID=35&ObjectGroup_ID=734 for some better examples of distribution blocks

My battery is in the trunk. and my bay is "somewhat" clean.

Where do most people hide it I guess is what I meant to ask?
