well my starter has recently been sticking a lot, i carry a hammer just in case, but i haven't used it yet. Im planning on ordering an aftermarket starter from sumitt or jegs tonight, and was wondering which one wouls be best for my application. im not going to have long tubes, and it's eventually going to be a nice HCI 302 or 306, but for now it's pretty much stock. Is there anything specific i should be looking at. I only want to do this once, so i'd like a starter that gets the job done and will last a while. can someone direct me in the right direction. i've been seeing these high torque mini starters, but dont know if they're really needed for my car or not. anyways any light she don the topic would really help me out. thanks guys.

well im not much of a wiring genious, so it'd have to go in pretty easy

It's very easy. It comes with directions. There is no cutting, splicing or anything. I am still trying to figure out wiring the 3G, so I am no electrician. The only problem I had was the loop on the cable that connects to the starter relay didn't fit, so I had to file the hole out a little.

Just picked up the Hi-Torque Mini starter this weekend from PA-Performance for $135. It's an awesome peice and went on in about 30 mins. Excellent! Also got the PA-Perf. 130 AMP Alternator. Very pleased:nice:
