Starting another custom audio build

Just curious as I'm a complete noob when it comes to this. Do you lay the fiberglass down to make the spare tire well airtight? Why not use spay in dynomat or something?...PB

Yes, the FG is used to make a sealed enclosure for the speakers. I'm not a fan of laying a board over the tire well and calling it a "box", although I know it's done often.

any updates, more pix??

No new pics, we haven't touched it. Unfortunately, my company had to recall some parts and we've been working nonstop to correct that as quickly as possible. I discovered the problem Thursday night, and we have replaced about 75% of the parts already. Once that's fixed, we'll get back to the fox.

I think that system looks great. Quart 3-ways in some great looking panels is a pleasure to look at.

Honestly, I haven't felt the urge to do large panels in painted FG in a fox body. I guess I view it as "too modern" a look for the older body style. That's just my own personal preference though, in no means taking a thing from your system. Give me an M3, NSX or similar, and that's how I'd probably roll too.

Different tastes withstanding, that system is truly pimptout. :nice:
