my vote.. 12's.. if you run them.. i say a 12.964.. my car runs 12's... i have thumpers and a more aggresive cam that shows better numbers on a dyno.. as well as an edelbrock intake.. so you shouldnt be far off..

i would rather have the stock valves for what i am going for! Maintains better air velocity for the flow capacity of the stock parts and a little better for the B-cam which is a pretty simple single pattern and not very big cam at all. I dont lazy and slow air movemeny, i want to suck and burn and make some torque ASAP! and with my B-cam advanced, it should help out all around!

i am wanting to have some decent power and a potent street car, i want to kick someones ass, leaving them wanting to look under my hood and i will show them, they will see a "stock engine" heh! they will be like "WTF"

I agree bigger valves are a waste on E7s, they will perform fine in their stock form. My car makes more power than my dads 03 mach 1 up untill 4200rpms. That was very evident on the track against alot of the mod motored cars. I would be winning untill the 1/8 mile point where they would fly by, and sometimes untill the 1000' point where they would fly by.

Im happy with my unported E7s with larger valves. It is extremely nice on the street (316 rwtq does feel good) and with the stock cam, makes it a nice sleeper too. It isnt wasted money if you see good results from it. And personally if you have never whooped up on HCI cars with E7s, a stock cam, and basically junk, then you just wont "get it". Money is money, comes and goes, but having something different that opens peoples eyes and impresses them, is something that stays for a while!

I know exactly what your saying! my friend has a HCI, granted it isnt big or anything... He has Ported gt-40 intake, ported gt-40ps and a mild cam ( little larger than the B cam)

and he has spents lots of money! and lots of time working on it! and its pretty stout and fast.

but i can take him on the street for the most part.... he even admits the fact mine runs better on the street...

at the track we raced a couple times and i took him off the line and stayed ahead for the whole 8th and even more , then he caught up. then he improved his driving and got better and better... and hits harder than mine now. he got the right tire and got better lauches

but on the street, i can stay ahead of him until the time i shift to 4th. The stock heads and cam are EXCELLENT parts for making torque down low. sure they may not have the steam up high but down low is where they excell!

87mustang351, you might want to make your own post on that question, your combo is pretty much as different as it gets from what foxfan is going to use.
