last week, the day we were moving, I went to start my cobra, and it turned over, but didn't start. This happens once in a while when it sits for a few days. I went to start it again, and I heard a whizzing from the starter(I thought). I've had something like this before, usually the starter solenoid. I then parked it, bought a new starter, and yesterday started working on it. I was able to get two of the bolts out, but the third...HELL! I couldn't get to it, even when I removed the h-pipe. So, since I figured it would be probably the solenoid, I just took the old one off and put in a new one from my new starter. Got everything hooked up and back together, put h-pipe on,etc. I went to start it, and again with the whizzing. I had my dad look in there, and I am for sure turning over the engine as the pulleys are moving.

I'm figuring I have no spark? Is there a spark module that could have gone out?? I don't know the inner workings of the cobras, so not sure what to look at. But I know the stater works....now what???

I'm sure some of you have had this problem before. I basically need to know what to try next? I don't want to take it to the dealer for fear of getting screwed on some other repair... I found an ignition module part after calling Kragen. I found it online for about $169 or so. But I don't know the electrical system of the cobra, so not sure what the operation of this part is. If it could possibly be my culprit, or you can tell me some possiblities I will try to fix it myself.

As a last resort I'll take it in.
