I have to get my pinion bearing replaced at a shop, so to save money on a tow and some on labor, I'm removing the rearend from the car and taking it to the shop (getting 3.73's too
) My problem currently is there is a little sensor that attaches to the brake heat shield (I assume it is something for the ABS system) that will not come off. I need to remove this before I can pull the rearend out. I was just wondering if anyone has removed their rearend and knows how this can be taken off the heat shield. Any help is appreciated. Also, any other tips would be nice too

much nicer when they just slide out...
