Ok so I have a new 306 short block with an Explorer intake, an E303 cam, 24 lbs injectors, I have removed the smog pump, added an EGR eliminator and block off plate, the car is till stock speed density. It will only stay runinng if I keep my foot on the gas lightly let go and it dies instantly I was planing on having a custom chip made for it and I thought I would be able to run it to adjust the valves, timing etc. with out any problems or will I have to wait till I get the chip made for it or can I take it to a tuner could they get it running with out a chip? Also what should my fuel pressure be at the regulator?
