Steeda billit window switch install

Has anyone done this and how do you remove the old switches (or buttons)?
Thought I'd ask before getting into another easy install that turns into a nightmare.

Very easy to do. To do it without scratching the plastic panel I took that off and unbolted the switches from the panel. Then you just pop off the switches since they just snap in. Then install the new ones and bolt the switches back to the panel and reinstall it.

just push the plastic buttons down on one side, insert a flat-head screwdriver on the other and they pry right off. Just push the new ones on.

the only button I had a problem with was the directional button for my power mirrors (up, down, left right). the hole in the button does not match the shape of the pin it's supposed to fit over. Its not as bad as a square hole and a round pin -- its a square pin with a point or pyramid at the top and the hole in the button is drilled for a square pin with a flat (not pointed) top. Anyone else have this issue??

I could fix the pin or button to make it fit, but I was under the assumption these buttons were plug&play, not a "custom" install. ;)
