1992 GT 5.0 5 Speed Hatch- Project on Instagram at darksidefox_92

Putting car back together- Dash harness changed from OG- Doors are OG and were working before the project

Facts- Fuse has power
Switch has power
After switch has power
Window moves if jumped but won't do anything off of the switch
Car has not been fully reassembled yet and we were testing electrical but using a jump box hooked in the engine bay.
Neither door is working
Ground on drivers door is in place
Factory computer and harness removed for Terminator X install. Engine still out of car

Is there another ground? If so where is it located?

Power lock actuators not installed yet- shouldn't matter?

If you have 12V+ to the motors then I would suspect bad grounds or bad motors. Can you pull a motor and rig up some wiring to go direct to the battery and see if that make it go? Could even put the battery on the floor with the door open and jump it that way so you don’t have to remove the motor.

Thank you- the motors are good I did jump them and they work.

Check the wires between the door and the door jamb, sometimes that movement opening and closing the door. There also is a ground on the door itself, comes out of the wire harness. If the motor works with a hot wire at the switch then the ground is likely good, see if the motor is getting a full 12 volts from the switch.

Thank you. I am going to double check everything including the ground under the drivers seat which I'm not sure if that has anything to do with or not and bought a new connector wire that connects the left and right door to rule that out.
