I may be looking to get me a new cam and i had heard about Steeda cams.

Who has one and can tell me about the performance overall and when does the power come in and the overall driveability?

I was looking for something more than stock but i don't want the jerkiness and all that mess associated with the bigger cams.

How do the cams compare to motorsports ones and are you running 1.6 or 1.7?

TTT for ya.

Haven't run them myself but have heard they are ground with a profile specifically to avoid loss of low end torque and drivability concerns. Steeda seems to be a good company, selling quality stuff, and not just out to make a buck like many of the bandits out there. Do a search, you'll find plenty info here or on www.corral.com

I wouldn't mind more info on Steeda cams myself. Emissions legal? It's either a Steeda or an E-cam, but I hear the E-cams are so-so. Any info will do.

You're going from a custom cam to a Steeda, why? I haven't seen anyone put impressive #s or times with a Steeda cam. IMO they close to the cost of custom, that's where I would look...a custom from someone who has good rep that is FTI, HiTech, Buddy Rawls, etc.
