What is that difference between the STEEDA "quick realease quadrent, and the Steeda double hook quadrent?

I am interested in ordering the steeda clucth quadrent with the steeda firewall adjuster. But then I read the description about the STEEDA "quik release quadrent" And that is the quadrent that it looks like I need, as it sayd that there is LITTLE pedal travel to engage the clutch once the pedal is depressed. Overall I am looking for a stiffer pedal that would engage the clucth about one quarter of the pedal travel.
What do you guys think?

I Just had a stage 1 SPEC clucth installed also.

Go with the Steeda 'red' quick release, steep ramp quad. You are correct in your thinking. When we had a King Cobra installed on my wife's 01 GT, we also had the 'blue' Steeda dual pickup quad, but the pedal ended up an inch or so higher than stock, and the release point was right near the top of the clutch pedal travel. It sucked! Tried to adjust with the Steeda firewall adjuster, but it couldn't make up this much adjustment. Finally talked to the installer, and he said this is normal with the dual pickup quad. Not sure how true that is, but he offered to install the 'red' quad for $30, parts & labor, that it would correct the problem and we said go for it. Know what? He was right...now it's much more like the stock travel, little stiffer - just what we expected, works great!

Thank u so much for your reply....Should I also order the Steeda Firewall adjuster with the steeda (red) quik realease?
Oh, and with your steeda quik release..you dont need depress the pedal far down in order to engage the clutch right? I wanna only have to depress the pedal about 1 quarter of its travel down to engage the clutch.....

Thanks

I'm not sure you'll be able to completely release the clutch with only 1/4 of the pedal travel, but the steep ramp will be the shortest travel. I'd also go with the adjustable cable and firewall adjuster for complete control and adjustability. Then it's a matter of tuning / messing with it...!

you should also look into UPR's product line. I've tried both Steeda's & UPR's the they are both good. I'd suggest you get a UPR firewall adjuster (or buy my Steeda adjuster if you're interested- PM me).
