Im thinking about getting the Steeda Coilovers, so ive got a list of what i would need, if there is something else i need please lemme know.

Front Suspension: Steeda Coilovers

96-04 Tubular K-Member (ea.) $259.95
94-04 Tubular A arms, rod end (pr.) $349.95
94-04 front threaded billet adj. strut (ea.) $229.95 2 of them
79-04 front coil over kit for threaded struts $129.95
79-04 14" 200lb front coil over spring (ea.) $39.95 2 of them
94-04 4-Bolt Caster Camber Plates $239.95

TOTAL: $1519.95 Before tax obviously

Now my question is, What do i do for rear suspension? Steeda doesnt make a rear coilover kit that i can see. Should i just get some H&R Springs and Bilstien Shocks?

And one other thing, Besides those mentioned above, what else should i do for a street/road course track set up? Panhard bar? tourque-arm? sway bars? Im a complete n00b when it comes to Mustang suspension.

Thanks,
Sean :flag:

I just looked at the steeda site that is QA1 stuff you are looking at.

I would not run it. search around hear and modurlar depot. Claimes of noise etc.

go tool around the maximum motorsports website I belive there stuff is a cut above QA1. My opinion though.

for sure do's on a mustang.

1. subframes
2. shocks, struts
3. springs
4. lower control arms (spherical bearign on one end at least)

from here you have to decide how deap you pockets are. I have done all of the above. I am content for now. I mean I can hit 25mph off ramps at 50mph+ without craping myself now.

now torque arm, panhard rod, coilovers are all nice addiditons just starts to add up.

I would look at these too kits.

I have been looking at both kits, a friend of mine has the steeda kit with a D&d? k-member and a-arms and so far he likes it. As for the MM kit, the front is around 400ish dollars more and then its another grand for the rear. Ill search around, maybe to start off with ill just get Springs and shocks/struts. Then get some CC plates with subframes and some other little stuff. Ill ask my friend (hes on here) about his front end and see how he likes it and see if he has any complaints.

K well i made a list of the MM stuff, once again here is what i think i need, IS there anything else i would need to make the kit work?

MM Front Coil-Overs :

MM K-Member - $649
MM Black Powdercoat CC Plates - $199.95/kit
MM Bilstein Kit & Hypercoil Springs - $369.00
MM Non-offset (standard) Urethane A-Arms - $349/pair
MM Aluminum Rack Bushings - $39.95/set
MM Tie-Rods Aftermarket K-Member (bolt-through spindle) - $139/kit
TOTAL: 1750 before tax

REAR MM Coil-Overs

MM Kit for Bilstein shocks - $319/kit
MM Panhard Bar - $339.95/kit
TOTAL: 660 Before tax
SUB TOTAL: 2410 Before tax

Anything else for the rear?

If it were me I think I would run the stock a-arms. just an opinion. Unless builing an all out race car or buying the offset arms I just don't think it is a must do.

I mean you could spend that money on the rear coil over kit and it would be money better spent.

Also I would research the k-member a bit because MM is very expensive there and I would want to make sure that thier K is worth the money. It may be but it may not be. I have not researched all of the k member options to give great advice here.
