My brother-in-law is interested in purchasing a 2001 Mustang GT. The ad in which the GT appears states that it has the "Steeda Performance Package". I have searched to try to find what this is, or if it even exists. Could anyone inform me about this package? I would like to know the contents of the package.

Could be any combination of Steeda bolt-on accessories.

It's called a Steeda Performance Calibration Package. It's located in the section on Fuel & Induction in Steeda's website. I saw it a while ago...was quite interested until I noticed the part where it says "This Calibration is for 1999 and newer naturally aspirated Mustang GTs with a manual transmission". Auto guys like me lose here but there are alternatives, so no big loss.

I got this directly from the Steeda website. If I am not mistaken you must send in your PCM to Steeda and they reflash it. It is also supposed to an adaptive tune which learns your new mods like the stock system is said to do. Hope this helps.

Ford Racing Ring and Pinion
Steeda Cold Air Kit
Steeda Performance Calibration

gains up to 25 horsepower with complete package and exhaust upgrades
calibrates speedometer for gear changes
emissions legal
serviceable at Ford Dealerships
