The difference between the Nascar/Cobra R/etc cars and your car is quite a bit. Those cars are BUILT for aerodynamics and have the power to make the spoiler functional. A bolt on GT isn't going to see drastic improvements with a bolt on spoiler

How many times, since the spoiler has been put on, have you went out and drove 130mph to feel how functional the piece is? It's basically for looks and that's about it on a daily driven car.

Bolt on GT? Have you read my sig? I have an FRPP roots blower sitting in the shed waiting to go on the car. I plan on eventually hitting 400 RWHP with the car. I also plan on taking it to open track events, so there's far less difference than you think between my car and those track cars. Mine is just on it's way there.

To call black rims ricey is well.....alittle much, to say you like something more preferrablly is a better thing to say. Black wheels have been on MANY cars from way back when to the modern day.

The Steeda spoiler looks good to me.....why people have to bash someone about it I don't know. Especially something from Steeda. No one has to like it, but grow up people.

I said I think they're ricey. In my opinion, only 2 types of cars truly belong with black rims. Race/Stock cars, and police cars. I like silver (or some variation therein) rims on a car. I like the contrast. I feel like black rims are way to F&TF. But if you like 'em, great. I'm not going to go picking on dudes for their mods (unless it's some serious stuff, like a full on Fobra or a black widow kit).

Just because alot of people have 'em doesn't make them any less rice IMO. It's a big fad. I think it's funny how the trends run, because black rims were pretty unpopular with the 5.0 boys, yet alot of you guys love 'em. Honestly, I just think they're kinda ghetto, like you see rappers putting them on their big ass escalades. I like a clean, classic look, and I don't get that from black rims. Honestly, and not to offend any of you, but to me they look trashy. I think I've seen one Stang that I liked them on, a Comp orange car with black stripes and other black details. I feel like you lose the look of the rim when it's black. They blend in too much with the tire and the dark wheel well, and you lose that 'pop' you get from some nice chrome or satin rims. My personal favorite is hypercoated.

Looks nice man but I think you need a more aggressive look in the front of your car now. Because the back looks pretty aggressive I think its time for a new hood!

I vote STEEDA Q400 (louvered) hood to match the wing!

I agree 100%, granted some black rims can be ricy but not the bullitts. How much did your rims cost? I'm getting black bullitts in the spring? Now back to the wing thing. Looking back at the history of the mustang which one had a big wing? The only one was the Cobra R and if I had that car the wing would be off before you could say mustang.

My girlfriend got them from AmericanMuscle.com for my birthday. I think they ended up costing her a little over $500. I got the deep dish in the back and I put Nitto 555's on all four. They cost me over $700.

I'm considering a few hood options. Either a shaker system, a Cobra R, a heat extractor, or the q. Not sure. Might go with a 99-01 cobra nose...

That is EXACTLY why i got black rims. I hate that "pop" you get from shiny ****. I yanked all of the emblems from the car and painted those black on my mineral grey car because I hate pop. I like stuff to blend in and not stick out too much. I do however like some difference between wheel and tire that is why i went with a deep dish low shine polished lip.

Anyway, back to the original subject of this message. That ricey wing of yours. Just kidding man. I actually like it.

99 Cobra FTW The R hood would go great with it.
