The difference between the Nascar/Cobra R/etc cars and your car is quite a bit. Those cars are BUILT for aerodynamics and have the power to make the spoiler functional. A bolt on GT isn't going to see drastic improvements with a bolt on spoiler
How many times, since the spoiler has been put on, have you went out and drove 130mph to feel how functional the piece is? It's basically for looks and that's about it on a daily driven car.
To call black rims ricey is well.....alittle much, to say you like something more preferrablly is a better thing to say. Black wheels have been on MANY cars from way back when to the modern day.
The Steeda spoiler looks good to me.....why people have to bash someone about it I don't know. Especially something from Steeda. No one has to like it, but grow up people.
black rims on a mustang rice? hahah, do you know how many people them?
I agree 100%, granted some black rims can be ricy but not the bullitts. How much did your rims cost? I'm getting black bullitts in the spring? Now back to the wing thing. Looking back at the history of the mustang which one had a big wing? The only one was the Cobra R and if I had that car the wing would be off before you could say mustang.
I feel like you lose the look of the rim when it's black. They blend in too much with the tire and the dark wheel well, and you lose that 'pop' you get from some nice chrome or satin rims. My personal favorite is hypercoated.
Just kidding man. I actually like it.I'm considering a few hood options. Either a shaker system, a Cobra R, a heat extractor, or the q. Not sure. Might go with a 99-01 cobra nose...
in fact i think i am going to re do the appearance mods not cause i dont like them, but because its a pain in the ass to get on the lifts.![]()
