I love my Tri-Ax, it was the first mod I did to my car and is still one of my favorites. Youll be amazed that you used to drive around with the stock POS. Good price, I remember I got mine for around $175 if I remember correctly.
You're going to hate it. The shifts are firm and positive. You're always getting right into gear without any problems of missing shifts. The positive shift stops mean an end to the joy of changing bent shift forks. You're really going to miss the stirring a box of rocks with a garden hose feeling. I'd suggest trying to cancel the order.
The Triax was my first mod and it's been nothing but trouble. I miss those sloppy shifts and missed 3rd gears. Every now and then I have to freewheel the motor up to 7k just to remember what a missed shift feels like. Do you really want to have to deal with that?!?
Get your $162 back and put it towards one of those turbo noise makers. You'll enjoy it alot more.
