steeda x2 balljoints : leaving spacers out will lower car?

I just had my front end alinement. I had them use Steeda's agressive set up it lowered my car to two fingers in the front. It handles really well.

2002 Mustang all bolt ons. Stage 2 heads & cams 301 rwh, 315 rwt 4:10 gear, welded torqe boxes & axel, x2 ball joints, UPRbump steer kit, 275/40/17 front & back, 13" rotors front & back, H&R Supersport springs, Summit caster & camber plates

no, but it did after I put on the azenis...:p

see now its got me wondering. i got the sportlines in. i was just thinkin of gettin the bumpsteer kit, and the 03/04 cobra a arms and run their stock ball joint that it comes with. u think itll lower a little bit more with just that ball joint that comes on the cobras? id like to steer away from getting the x2 at the time since it comes with the a arm

yeah, that is a tough one.. It would be almost impossible to decide without having the cars side by side to see the difference.. I had sportlines on my other mustang and I was going to add x2's because it needed that .5 inch, but I sold it before I got that far.. Otherwise, I could have been able to tell yah.

I have the FR D arms to install as well. The stock '03/'04 Terminators already sit pretty low, so I would think that Ford should have setup the ball joints/springs to keet the arms level. Anybody try this? ...with what springs? These A-arms also have a slightly wider track (about .75") This should allow more negative camber on our cars with the stock CC plates.
(I also have the Bullit kit on the shelf but was thinking of replacing the Bullit springs with C-springs from more drop.)

are u talkin about the kit that has the Tokico shocks/struts(not sure what series, but i know theyre black) the springs and front/rear sway bars? if so i would DEF replace them with the C springs. i had the springs in the front of my car when i first got the kit before i bought the sportlines and it looked like SUCH ass. but i do have those ****ty springs in the rear, it lowered my rear about .5 or so which gives me my raked look iwas lookin for. i guess ill just get the Cobra A arms and so who gives a f when it comes to the ball joint.

i figure, the a arm is an upgrade and technically, has an upgraded, more technologically efficient ball joint than whats on our car for stock.

I have 03/04 cobra a-arms and ball joint they come with. i used FRPP cobra R springs before they discontinued. i tried both x-2 and regular ball joints a-arms comes with. the steeda x-2 without the spacers will lower you front about .5 or more in my case i liked the regular ball joint cobra a-arms come with. made the car sit even. i did not feel any performance difference between the two. i still my x-2 just in case i change my mind. if you like the front slammed look then install the x-2 without the spacers. you will have to re-align the car afterwards.

for the money and what you get, ive thought about going with the 03/04 a arm setup. new arms, all new bushings and new ball joints for like $165.

i still have my X2 ball joints...havent decided what im gonna do yet

if you already have x-2 joints, just use those. cobra arms and your arms do not make much difference. just the turning radius. when you have your control arms out install new arm bushings. poly ones or the ones from steeda works really well.
