Ok guys, here's the problem. I just recently purchased a tilt column for my '92 and realized after I had pulled the original that the lower shaft that goes through the firewall is pressed on and the new column is missing it. Has anyone done this swap that knows the easiest way to remove that lower shaft? It is the only thing that will hold me back this weekend from having it back on the road after a few months. Just finshing up the beefed up drivetrain to handlke the power and like a dummy I started a new project while it was apart. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will also check and see if that part is still available through the dealer. Thanks.
