I would like to see some pics of steering wheels in your foxes, mine cramps my hands cuz its to small in diameter and im looking into getting a different one

That sucks that your hand cramps. I assume you have the stock steering wheel?

I have a grant GT steering wheel. I like the looks of it, its a good size and comfortable

ooo i like that momo monte carlo the grant is nice too does it come in all black i wonder..?

Yea im pretty sure its stock, steering wheel is uncomfortable to grip my hand cramps up and i dont want to buy one of those stupid things that go around it

im tryna make the car a lil more comfortable to drive, its only fun when im putting the pedal down ha the extremely stiff shocks in the rear dont help either

My favorite are the '85-86 GT wheels (might have been in other years too but i'm not sure). They're basically the same as what i have only with the simulated stitching and the round thing around the Ford emblem in the middle.

You're driving a car, not hang-cleaning 500 lbs. No need to be gripping ANY steering wheel hard enough to cramp up!

Here's mine. When I took this picture, I wasn't aiming for the wheel, but its the best I have of it.

I have problems with my hands , bilateral thumb tendonitis and broken fingers from getting hit with a baseball bat and block it with my hand , basically holding anything in my hand for a while hurts

I really like that momo im gonna check out ebay right now, how hard are they to put in?

based on that dude i dont think any steering wheel is going to lessen the pain...unless its really fat or something so you dont have to close your hand as much

yea i am basically looking for one larger in diameter then my stock one that has some cushion to it

darkwriter no offense but that is a really ugly wheel man

i like that momo wheel i think i will be purchasing one of those soon. does anyone know of any sites that have a large amount of pictures of different types of steering wheels compatible with my car?

It just screams "Ford borrowed this from a no-options Tempo!" doesn't it? :D

FWIW, that Momo wheel is really nice, similar to what I'm thinking of maybe getting for my '84, but there are a bajillion clones of it that are identical in quality and style (but in a ton of different color variations) and cost a fraction of what a real Momo wheel usually costs, so you might wanna give eBay a look. I was peeking the other day out of curiosity and most of the wheels of that style have "Buy It Now" options for less than $30. Add a Grant installation kit from your local parts store (I wouldn't trust anyone on eBay to send me the right adapter), and you should be able to have yourself a groovy wheel to hang your mitts on for less than $100. :nice:

Unless, of course, you NEED that genuine Momo logo on there...?

OK now I'm really curious what circumstances involved you blocking a baseball bat with your hands!?
