I just got some Corbeau seats and now I can barely get into my driver's seat because my stock steering wheel is so close to the seat, what reccomendations do you guys have for aftermarket steeing wheels? I've been looking at Grant because they're removable which would make it very easy to get in and out plus the security.

Mine is removable for the same reasons you listed. It is the "Shelby" style.

You didn't ask this, but another potential remedy is to reduce the height of the sheet metal platforms that your seats sit on.

What do you have to do to make a stock steering wheel removable?

Hack, very good point. In fact I have seen several early models with the drivers side "seat perch" removed. They had added some support but the actual perch was gone to lower the drivers seat.

Looked kinda cool.

Dad put Recaros in the 65 years ago and they have the same problem. Thighs too close to the steering wheel.
