I am putting a set of Sterns on my car. My set of wheels does not have the correct Saleen/Stern offset of +24 front, +39 rear. However, my car is not a true Saleen car, it is a tribute car, and I used the Baer M2300Killer 5 lug conversion. So here is my 'hypothesis' if you will.
I will be using the SN95 spindles (off a 98) that add +13 or so in offset. My Stern fronts are about a +15 in offset, which puts me at a +28, which is perfectly acceptable for fitment. This does not take into account the 1/4 spacer I will have to run to clear the 13" brake calipers, but that will only add 6mm or so to the offset, which I believe will be fine. I run +30mm Bullitt wheels now, and that additional +4mm will be negligible.
As for the rears, My Sterns are a +24 offset. Saleens ran a +39, but that was to compensate for the additional .75 in the SVO axle length. If my math is correct .75 equals 19mm, my offset is off by 15mm, again, giving me a +4mm over the Saleen offset. My axles are the Dutchman axles which do increase the track width/offset a nominal .20 which equals about another 4mm. Putting me a whopping 8mm over the Saleen offset.
Standard Fox offsets were +24 (23.8) all around. I will be at a +34 in the front, and a +28 in the rear. My simple question is my hypothesis correct, or did I make any mistakes, or forget to take any variables into account? I feel like I am extremely lucky, finding a set of Sterns, with the 'incorrect' offset, that actually works better for my application!! ??

Thanks for your help! :SNSign:

I will gladly post pics, once they are actually on my car! Right now I am "in the process" of doing the SN95 brake conversion, and I still need to get a set of tires on the wheels. It will probably be a couple of months, at least.

Your math sounds fine to me. I run STERNS on my Saleen with the correct offset and have zero issues. You will love how it makes the car look.
