Yeah - i dont like the fact that Vt N/A cams won't work well for a supercharger which would mean a whole new set of cams in the future if one went that route. But comp 270's are supposed to be an equivalent N/A stage to the VT stage II's so i'm not surprised he didn't lose anything. And peak numbers are hardly what is most considered when you chose 1 cam over the other - comparing the curves would best resolve that. Either way good info TGJ

So the VT cams are not blower friendly. That sells me on the 262. I dont want cams that limit my modifications later. With exception of my UD pullies I havent put on anything that would restrict my future upgrades. You all rock:SNSign:, thanks for the info. Where do I get that special tool so I dont have to take the front cover off? Was it Anderson Ford Motorsports?

Yes, Anderson Ford Motorsports sells the chain-locking tool you are looking for. You have to be REALLY CAREFUL with it though.

No, Hotmustang ran the Vt stage 1 n/a in his twin turbo two valve up to 525(?) hp at like 14.8psi on stock internals.

I wasn't talking peak numbers. Greenbird on Modular Depot years ago, showed 2 very closely modded cars. One had VT Stg 1 N/A cams, the other was Comp 262 cams. The Comp cammed car had an 8 RWHP advantage from 1500 RPM to 6000 RPM over the VT Stg 1 car, after 6100 RPM there was 1 - 2 RWHP advantage to the VT cammed car. I remember that because the VT supporters had their feelilngs hurt big time because of that post and it turned into a big flame fest.
