I'm glad to see so many agree with me that the wheels you already have are great. I'd spend the money on something else, maybe gas for a cross-country trip.

Regarding the Torq Thrusts, what are most people's opinions regarding wheel size. 18's or 20's?

My Biggest concern is if I go with a 20 inch wheel, I'm going to have to drop it at least an inch in the rear and inch in the front. I have a bit of incline and decline in the driveway and I'm concerned about scraping.

But damn, I love the look of the U66 car and it's stance is perfect in my mind.

If you get the 20s, there are a few tire combos that will actualy increase your ride height. That will fill the fender wells as well as gain you valuable ground clearance

Kool,
Here is what I have come up with. Oh by the way, I'm ordering today. So help me out so I don't screw this up!!!

The U66 runs:
295/30/20 Toyo Proxes 4 27" Diameter (.25 shorter than stock)
255/35/20 Fronts Toy Proxes 4 27" Diameter as well

I'm going with the Anthracite Shelby Torq Thrust M's. They are readily available and much less expensive than the Torq Thrus II's. I love the wheel. But the wheels were going to run me $1800 by themselves without tires.

What other 20" sizes would work. I can't seem to find anything that would help fill those gaps.

What else can you recommend?

I did find a Nitto Tire that runs 285/40/20 but that results in a 28.9 diameter. I'm thinking that is too much.

I could also run a Toyo Proxes 4 275/40/20 whic is 28.6. That might be okay.

I want a wide stance in the back, so I don't want to go less than a 275. I really don't want to go less than a 285.

why 20's? 18's would be perfect.

I'd still keep the stock wheels, but to each his own.

I ordered that 18's today.
Shelby American Racing TT M's
18x10 and 18x9's

Tires: BFG KDW NT's

285/40/18
255/45/18

My local Discount Tire store is hooking me up.

I'll post pics as soon as they are mounted up. Also ordered the new TPMS bands from American Muscle. Can't wait for the install!!!

Stan, I know you liked my current wheels. I like them as well but I really like the Deep Dish look and the wider meats!

Those are good sizes Apex. It should look really nice when you drop it.
I was looking at those as well, but I wanted something taller than stock(as I really love these cars with the extreme rake that produces)and the 285/60 being 31.5" scared me out of the BFGs. It may fit the rear, but I wasn't about to chance it. If I find out by the time the Nittos wear out, I wouldn't mind going to that tire and just dropping the front 1-1.5"
