Just a quick question, what does Ford rate the 0-60mph (or 0-100km/h) time at, and is it accurate? I've run across articles saying that a bone stock mustang can do 0-60mph in 4.9 sec (which seems pretty low) but other articles/websites saying that 0-60mph is 5.3 or 5.4 seconds. Just kinda curious.

Thanks,

Matt

P.S. (Does anyone know how much adding 20" rims - assuming an average weight would add to the 0-60?)

I took my 05' to the drag stip right after I bought it and I thought I had all the info in my profile but the 0-60 time isn't there. You can check out 1/8 and 1/4 mile times if you want (they are in my profile). Maybe you can estimate 0-60 using those numbers? Regardless, I kept my time slips so I'll check them when I get home. I am however out of town so it'll be next week before I can post it. I'm not sure it's on the time slip, but I'll look. I didn't powershift on that run. I don't know if it makes a difference in 0-60 or not.

1/10 of second...

The funny thing is that a 1/10th of a second or even a few 1/10th's of a second can be effected by driver reaction time, weather conditions, or even the specific car being tested. My bet is that 4.9 is possible if they're claiming it. :nice: These guys test cars so uch they must have it down to a science.
