+1Killercanary said:I'm confused guys. The mach1 and bullitt calipers are the same as the cobra's front and rear. They too require 17" wheels. The 99-up GT's have the twin piston PBR calipers that will still allow you to run 15" or 16" wheels. If you go with cobra brakes, then you will be able to run a 16" wheel out back no problem, but up front you will be stuck with either running a 17" wheel or a skinny with spacers or a custom set of skinnies that will clear.
The 99-up calipers do not just bolt-up either, you need to get the caliper brackets, banjo bolt, preferably a set of 99-up front brake lines as the pass side has a little lip that must be ground down if using the 94-95 lines, you will also need to grind a VERY small amout of material from the spindle too for the caliper to bolt-on.

They weigh 15lbs less than the TTII's, plus they are only 225mm wide, vs. 275mm wide for the 17's so the rolling resistance is a huge difference. I'm willing to get some draglites & spacers in the front if its easier to do that to get the wheels around cobra brakes.
I just REALLY need better brakes for the amount of road racing I plan on doing this year, so the stock brakes just wont cut it.
