just a quick question....whats a ported upper and lower stock intake worth?

"this is a fox style upper and lower intake. included is a felpro gasket kit. everything you need to install onto your 302 motor for an EFI application. The intake has been ported a little, and gasket matched, for better then stock flow. the mounting surface has also been cleaned up to ensure a good seal"

unless the intake is ported really good i wouldnt bother.

see if he has some flow sheets on the intake, if not you really have no idea how it flows and IMO wouldnt be worth it. but if its free then what the hell lol

You posted a copy/paste directly from his ad, correct?

I have a T-moss lower and a Fox Lake ported upper. I paid about 230 shipped for the combo. Mind you, they're both professionally ported.

A ported stock will find you a "little" extra power but I would save up for a Cobra or Explorer. Its an hour of driving round trip and its gonna take you a day to put it on.

Ported "a little" as in "I took a dremel to it"? Was it done professionally? If so it might be worth the 30 minute drive, especially if it's free. Hell I drive 45 minutes to work. I run a ported stock upper and lower. I'm looking to get it on a dyno soon and will post results.

With my ported intakes, and full exhaust this weekend I dynoed at 212hp/275tq. to the wheels. Not bad for just that little bit of mods.
