i know i have searched and still dont have an answer i need a cam that will work well in a stock engine with a 150 shot by the way the engine is in a long travel sand rail with a 5.13 ring & pinion its also carbed with vic. jr intake other than that stock as a rock.

I would concentrate on a set of heads first. They are a bottle neck. The stock cam is pretty good. Probably the best application with stock heads.

Not sure. Hopefully someone will come in who knows about them. But I would assume they are far better then the stock e-7's. How much are they?

Depending on how much you wanna spend will give a better understanding on where to go. Ideally Head's and a cam would wake it up. But again, how much cash do you have to spend?

+1 on the stock cam being good for an only mild mod 5.0. i've heard this time and time again from the pro's. unless you're doing a head swap or some other major mods, the stock cam is pretty good. i've also seen a couple recent posts on the worlds, people seem pretty pleased with the performance for the price. do a search on here and i'm sure you can find what you need about everything.

add another vote for the stock cam. I have the world products Roush 180 heads and I am not impressed. When I bought them new, they were $720 on a discount, and twisted wedge heads were about $950. Now you are talking about 1k for the world heads and 1100 for twisted wedge. Take it from me, you're going to like the twisted wedge heads much better, or any other aluminum head for that matter, minus the ford racing heads.

Though they are a great improvement over stock, I think the flow is still not as good as other heads. When I got mine there were metal shavings around the valves and seats, the holes for the accessories were drilled slightly off where they should be, the guideplates that came with the heads were complete garbage and broke after 200 miles, and you can't use 1.7 rockers with them if you decide you want some later. If you want them for smog, you have to drill them yourself... Just save the headaches IMO
