Stock 94/95 Battery Cable Length?

Planning to have some new custom battery cables made for the Stang since the old ones are getting ugly/messed up and I'll be replacing the alternator soon. The battery is still in the engine bay in the stock location - how long are the cables? I'm planning on measuring them myself if I can't get an easy online answer...figured I would try on here first.

Not sure but you can use some string along the existing cable to get the exact lenght.

Also make them alittle bit longer. I learned the hard way

I just did this on my car...I used 2ga wires for the negative and positive. It was 58" for each. You'll also need a cable from the battery to the distribution box. I believe that was around ~18". I had my starter out at the same time which made it much easier. it would be a PITA with it still bolted up.
