Hi all, I picked up a 96 GT that has an aftermarket air intake on it. I need to replace it with a stock one to run SCCA Solo II FS class, so I picked up a stock air intake off of ebay. The stock system has a K&N filter in it. When I went to attach the filter housing to the mass air sensor, something must be missing between the housing and the sensor because there is a gap there. Found a picture online from K&N showing some sort of a screen seated in that area. Is this screen all that is missing? Was going to check a salvage yard later today to see what they had, but wanted to make sure I was getting the rights parts (if they have any...).
