Im sure everyones all awear of how the power starts dropping up off top. But id like to improve mine. One of my very inteligent friends say's thats its probably fords small exhaust side on the head. so with my stock gt40s I wonder would shorty headers, x pipe with hi flow cats, along with a catback i already have will help produce more upper power. Or do i really need a cam which will determine where the power is. I kinda dont want to mess with the heads tho and keep it stock so i dont know if changing to a cam that makes more top end power will be good or bad because of the flowrates of the stock gt40s

with long tubes would the cats be to far away from the exhaust for it to actually be benefiting?

Long tubes make more power than shorties through out the power range. What do you have done to the car?

Some long tubes with a mac pro-chamber will help get that car moving and some gears(3.73) will really help her get up and go.

The quickest and easiest bang for the buck is 3.73's. $150 or so for the gears and if you don't know how to install them then mechanic fees
