Stock Distributor && High Revving Motor.

Is the stock Distributor accurate at higher RPM's past 6000? I'm thinking my motor might see something in the upwards of 7200 if it sneaks a little past my 6900 rev limiter (with an aluminum flywheel and balancer)? I don't need that thing misfiring at those RPM's that could be bad. I have a MSD box and an Anderson computer keeping the RPM's in check.

TMC The stock dizzy will not only be fine for that but some think it's actually one of the best options out there over the aftermarket stuff.

UHM? Are you saying that there are no aftermarket distributors that are better then the stock one past 6k? Or are you saying that the stock distrib is good up to 7200RPM's and it's a waste to replace it because the aftermarket ones don't make a big difference?

I'm saying that some people I've spoke with feel that the above statement is true. I'm also saying that the stock dist. will be fine to spin 7200 IMO.
