Stock edition 302 build ideas. Hi! I have a 1994 sn95 with a bone stock 5.0 I’ve brought to 2 events and I have another 5.0 block I’m looking to build as I get seat time. I’m looking for ideas on a 3-400 ho reliable build ideal for drifting. as of now I have a gt40 upper/ Lower intake and 24lb injectors in my garage. Cost isn’t really an issue! I truly do appreciate the help.
If money is not an issue then do it right and do it once. For drifting and being you are in the upper rpm’s a lot I would start with a Dart block. Then call Ed Curtis and have him recommend a rotating assembly, heads, cam, and intake. Then order a MSPNP to control it all and realize it’s going to destroy the T5 that’s in the car. Ge a TKX and a good clutch (Ram, McLeod, Spec, etc.).
