Stock Forged Pistons?

Wrong.... My 83 was a "5.0 HO" and had Cast pistons. 79-84 5.0 H.Os had Cast pistons.

I was not refering to "79-84 5.0 H.O.'s" - BTW H.O. 302's didn't exist untill 1982 or '83. I think it was '82, but not positive.

My response was to this quote...

From what I have been told is all '87-'92 5.0's have forged pistons.

Indeed all H.O.'s from '87-'92 had forged pistons. Lincoln LSC's and Mustangs got the H.O. in those years. I am not wrong. Possible not clear enough in my response though. His question was is it true '87-'92 H.O.'s got forged pistons and the answer is yes. That's what I responded too.

Daggar in the site you supplied it says "1986-only flat top pistons were replaced by TRW forged pistons with valve reliefs."
Does this imply that '86s were not forged, or were they forged flat-top pistons? Not that it matters all that much becuase I won't be boosting or spraying my 120,000 mile engine, but id would be nice to tell ricers I have "forged internals" and they don't.

The 86HO had a flat top piston that was unique to 86 because of the different heads they used in 86. It WAS a forged piston. The heads sucked and were replaced by the E7TE castings in 87 which lasted the remainder of the fox body run. 85 pistons are also forged.
