I know I need to upgrade my fuel pump but I was wondering if the fuel rail would also need to be upgraded. If so does anyone know what sized injectors i can use on the stock fuel rail? Im new to the forum. Thanks for your help in advance.
My friend ran 42's on his blown car with stock rails, so you are cool there. And depending on the power you are making, the stock rails are ok to a point. I've heard around 450-500hp. Don't quote me on that though.
Yeah the stock rails are good for about 450-500 hp but if your really going to be pushing the engine that hard I'd supplement the intank with an inline pump as well.

Cars have been low 10's at 135+mhp with stock lines and rails. I have stock lines and rails, 42# injectors, T-rex inline and 255 intank, and an aeromotive FPR.
Pick yourself up a set of 95 gt fuel rails. They hold more fuel and work excellent. If you can find a set your in business. they range $25-40 and its proven to work. Just requires some minor fuel line bending and its a direct plug in. Good Luck.
no you don't, your hoping for low 12's right, thats not nearly enough power to necessitate a complete fuel system, and the rails alone aren't gonna do jack with the stock fuel lines
If you plan on upgrading any further down the road you will have wished that you would have already done the fuel system. It would not hurt to run new line from the tank to the aftermarket rails or 95gt rails, why take the chance starving your motor for fuel and breaking more stuff, you shouldn't have to feel "iffy" about your set up on your car. Peace of mind is worth a lot! Just my 2 cents
