Stock Gears?

Does anyone know what the stock gear ratio's are for a 2000 5spd GT? are they 3.73's?

Ok should i go with FRPP 4.10 gears or get them somewhere else..also i was told i need to get a tune after the gears..how much does that usually cost?

I would get FRPP 4.10s, although you can also go with Motive. A tune (or tuner) is optional, however you will need to recalibrate the speedometer. This can be done with a tuner or a SpeedCal device.

I also recommend FRPP. I waited until I had my SCT Xcal2 to get my gears that way I could use it to adjust the speedo for me. It was very simple to do

If you are planning future performance mods in addition to the gears I agree about getting a tuner. You could go with a SpeedCal for less $$ but a tuner is well worth the extra expense.
