Is there such a thing? I shaved up my stockers to clear my roller rockers. They're a bit noisy and I figured it was just the nature of the beast. Now I'm starting to wonder if one or more of the rockers might be making slight contact with some portion of the valve cover.

I plan to pull it all apart (one day) and readjust the valves but if there's a cover out there that is like the one I describe, then I may replace them while I'm at it.

It's a bit of a shame. I really like the shape of the stock covers and was planning to get a set in chrome.

For those that are wondering why stock height is so important... anything higher and I'd have to run a spacer and customize a snout bracket for the Kenne Bell.

I cut my baffles out as well. I've also ground out the high areas inside the cover. Perhaps I've not ground enough of it out.

At this point, it's only a suspicion that the rockers are coming in contact somewhere.

As far as your oil problem goes... I suppose you could always have a machinist weld a couple of grates into the filler neck to keep the oil down.

Trick flow sells a stock height valve cover that should clear both. You'll have to buy a TFS fill neck and drill your own hole to mount it. I fabricated a oil baffle out of a cut up dew can and epoxied it in there as well to ensure nothing would fling up. It worked like a charm.

Are those the ones that come with the TFS top end kit?

or painted black...

Do you think that worlds might collide if I mounted them atop a set of AFR heads?

Yes most likely the universe would cease to exist. If you’re lucky you would just tear a hole in the fabric of time.
