Recently switched to a Mach 1 from an 02 GT, I have the midpipe from the GT and am debating whether or not I wanna buy another cat-back. The stock exhaust on the Mach 1 looks a little different, almost like Borla. I like loud so I might just get the MagnaPacks with the O/R X-Pipe again but just curious to know if the cat-back is already aftermarket.

Thanks

Why didn't u take your Maggie stuff off your GT? It fits on the Mach, that's what I did and just swapped the stock stuff back on when I traded it.

^ What he said, should have swapped the exhaust from the GT over to the Mach. Hindsight is always 20/20, bleh.

Enjoy the 4V.

The old stock cat-back from the GT i had to cut off. So when I traded the car in I left the magna-flow cat-back on and took the mid-pipe off. So its the same exhaust just rolled tips (mach1)?

I think the mufflers are "tuned" slightly different but the stock Mach 1 catback is essentially the same catback as a GT catback with rolled chrome tips.

They supposedly tuned the sound different on the mufflers similar to the Bullitt if you've ever heard one. I couldn't barely tell the difference when I got my Mach, my car seemed so quiet before I finally got around to reinstalling my Maggie stuff on, though people told me it was loud and sounded good stock. Nothing like aftermarket exhaust on a Stang.
