Stock rear in a 70 Coupe??

Its an 8" don't change it unless your building your engine way up because the 302 will have a hard time breaking it with an auto unless your going much higher than stock hp with slicks.

The 8.8 isn't strong enough to be worth the effort of swapping it, go with a 9". Finding one that already fits the car would be better, I'd just keep my eyes open for one the right width already or close enough where only rewelding the perches is necessary and use the 8" for now.
