whats the max cam lift that the stock pedestal rockers can handle? I'm looking at a e303 for a slight increase in power and was curious if that would be to big for the stock rocker?

The stock Rockers could handle that but I'd change the rockers anyway. What heads?

Don't put the stock rockers on those heads. Find a nice set a scorpion 1.6 rockers and do it right. Why did you pick the E cam? There are much better cams out there. I'm guessing you bought it already.

whats wrong with those rockers on those heads? just curious. No i haven't bought it yet but i hear good things about it and i'm getting ready to pull the motor from my 95gt for a swap to a 85 gt. What cams are better? comp 270h or maybe trickflow?

Both, though I'd lean towards the CompCams XE264HR-12 cam for unported GT40 heads.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Stock rockers should work fine. I'm not sure there rally is a max lift. Certainly nothing arvertised.
