Does anybody know what a 2001 Saleen runs for PSi and is it dangerous to go with a smaller supercharger pulley without other mods first if so what would be the best way to go. I have heard that its alright and i have heard that its bad whats the real deal thanks

sorry i cant help you on the saleens boost, but i would guess somewhere around 6-8 psi. i dont know if their kits are intercooled are not but as long as IAT2 temp dont get too hot and you get a tune raising boost to 10psi or so shouldnt be a problem. if you're not willing to get a tune after you install the pulley, dont put it on.

I have the same charger that is on the 01's and I see 8 to 9lbs. I wouldn't go with the pulley without knowing your a/f ratio is good. Some seem to be ok, some said they blew the motor shortly after. Better safe than sorry if you don't have a wideband to tell you if you start to run lean. I'd suggest at a minimum, a BAP and a dyno tune to upgrade to the smaller pulley.
