So does my original cover on my 1990 and I've been running 0.054" gap in my 1990 car with stock ignition since new with great results. Might want to recheck that unless cars shipped to MA are different.

As good as the Official Mustang Handbook is, there have been a few times where i thought i have found mistakes in what they publish. This was one instance. According to the book the gap is 0.044", however as stated, the Vaccuum and Emmissions control decal on my own car lists it as 0.054"
