Just wanted to say hi kinda new to this site hope you can help.

Well im doing an EEC swap and thinking of getting an old wiring harness
I have the pin outs for the EEC and i know that the EEC side of the harness
can be taken apart and repined. But can the sensor side of the harness
be also taken apart? basically id like to rewire it.
I know that may be long and difficult but its the type of hobby i like :D

also its a 95 type harness.

thanks in advance,
Dom

what year car? what year ecm are you trying to put in? if your tryin to put a fox body computer in our 94-95 cars ..your crossing into dark territory and probley wont find much advice on that..

You can always re-wire the car. However, the fox harnesses and the '94-'95 harnesses are two different generations of wiring style. There are many wiring differences beyond the pins on the ecu. The wiring on the '94 and '95 harnesses is similar to what you find on a mod motor stang. What has possessed you to want to put a fox ecu in your car? It is a hell of a lot more trouble then it is worth.
I just completed a 5.0L swap into my bronco II. I am having my local shop integrate a '95GT injector harness and fox main harness into the factory bronco II chassis harness. Good luck!

*hi-jack*

sorry but its on the same topic...We are looking at a 95 GT with a possible bad engine harness how hard is it to replace on of these anabout what would the harness cost.

:stangnet:

Hehe ok what it is is I have a 95 f-150 and my EEC isent supported by the tweecer RT so I have a T4M0 EEC think it came out of a 5 speed anyways it uses the CBAZA strategy but will use tweecer to run a W4H0 calibration so thinking of getting a used wiring harness and rebuilding it crazy i know but its my hobby and its a project truck

so with that said im hopeing to be able to take the wire and pins out of the harness
and redoing it i looked at the EGR valve connector it looks like u can pull the center out to loosen up the pins

any help is much appreciated
