Stolen Remote Entry

My son used the car for School where he took his keys out of his pocket & the remote entry button was Stolen. My question is if I buy 2 new remotes & reprogram them to the car will that make the Stolen one in unusable. Or is there any way to disconnect this feature. Afraid the stolen remote will give them access to the car...

That's good news. I ordered 2 new ones while still having one old one. So I'll reprogram the 2 new ones & leave the old one in the house. Once the 2 are reprogrammed I'll then try to gain access with the one left in the House... Thank-You so much for the advice....
