Stoopid power steering fluid question

Will Type F safely mix with standard power steering fluid?

I did a flush/refill with Type F on my '84 and it really helped quiet down the pump a lot. The pump in my '89 is perfectly fine, but the rack boots leak a bit when the car's parked for a week or longer at a time, so it needs to be topped off. Don't have any standard P/S fluid laying around, but I've got a crapload of Type F. Will mixing the two a bit cause any issues?

dont know if it will but i did the flush and fill with synthetic fluid a few years ago and my pump is so quiet i can hear the exhaust leak from the #8 header.

Maybe I'm not reading it right... Type F is whats recommended by Ford in the PS system. Regular PS fluid causes leaks, I learned that the hard way... IDK why the cap says "PS Fluid Only"...IIRC.

I'm with Liquid. You should be using Type F anyhow. It has a higher coefficient of friction.
