Will Type F safely mix with standard power steering fluid?
I did a flush/refill with Type F on my '84 and it really helped quiet down the pump a lot. The pump in my '89 is perfectly fine, but the rack boots leak a bit when the car's parked for a week or longer at a time, so it needs to be topped off. Don't have any standard P/S fluid laying around, but I've got a crapload of Type F. Will mixing the two a bit cause any issues?
