storage time is coming

Read this is a no-no...If your not going to bring the car to full operating temp then you create condensation in the motor as its to cold...Kinda like all the water that comes out your exhaust at start-up...only the condensation in a cold motor just sits there...:nonono:
Once you shut it down leave it alone...Being able to get it out on the road for a good 1/2 hr drive would and is best cause at least it get hot enough to not condensate...
Just my opinion...once stored I leave mine alone.

If he runs it at all, I'd let it heat up pretty good. You'd want the oil to get hot enough to flash contaminates (during a period of storage, namely water).

My personal thing is that if I cant run it long enough to accomplish this, I wont run it at all. That's just me.

Good luck bud.

Ah, good points... soooo, let it sit there with a brick on the gas pedal for 1/2 an hour should do it :D

j/k

Thats what Tempo's are for...

I don't trust my dad's stick-shift-driving-abilities to let him take it on a 1/2 drive, so I'll leave it alone then.
