When I deployed, I put my car in public storage with a full tank of gas and some dryer sheets all throughout, under the hood, in the trunk, around the tires, inside the car. That was to keep the mice away.

Since you're not in a wet climate and it's only two months, I'd make sure it has a full tank of gas with some Stabil in it, disconnect the battery and maybe put it up on jack stands. I assume it's being stored indoors? If not, I'd buy a car cover for it.

2 months isn't a big deal for summer storage. Just fill up the gas tank and disconnect the battery.

Same....full tank of gas, add Stabile, disconnect negative connection on the battery. Maybe put a dryer sheet or two inside so it doesn't smell musky when you return.

I'd say heat shouldn't be a factor. I had two cars in Public Storage while my wife and I were deployed for 6 months. No problems with either of them. All I did was put a full tank in each and dryer sheets everywhere, that really does keep mice from chewing up your wires etc.
It'll be okay

Stabil, is a fuel additive which prevents the fuel from "going bad" during long term storage (in a nutshell). You can find it at most auto parts stores. There's really no need to use Stabil unless you are storing your vehicle for an extended period of time, IMHO.

What he said....you can put it in the snowblower, lawnmore, whatever so the gas doesn't gum up and go bad.

Perfectly safe for cars, boats, RV's......

I've used it for winter storage the last 4 years in the Cobra.
